the Dragon Door

this swinging door was the 1st art gig I got paid to do for a glass blowing studio’s workshop door in 2013. Named Kasai Arashi (Fire Storm), this was the 1st artwork I’d ever painted since I was 5yo & is what got me into doing custom painted objects for hire.

In 2020 or 21 he was found in a flea market a town over for a 10th of what I sold him for & has been back w me ever since. Funny how it went full circle as I figured when the shop closed I’d never see him again.. Currently I’m in the process of restoring a few minor damages from use but overall very good condition.
