I am Spencer August Hemme but to the masses online I work under the name, ‘the Human Dude’ as I do not want personal notoriety or fame from my art. Rather I’d much prefer the Art & Services I provide to be the main focus of attention here & not me..my brand, my style, & my creations, but not me individually online, I lack any form of social media. Though I’m very personable when dealing w individuals & clients face to face, whether that’s in person or via text, phone, or email.

This page is my primary way to showcase my work in the tab labeled portfolio. I also showcase a small collection of older embarrassing pieces to allow other aspiring artistic folk to view how my style formed as I kept at it, & to inspire other creatively minded folks to keep perfecting their own unique styles.

I’m a Self Taught Artist, never went to art school which allowed me to craft a very unique Detailed & Vibrant Art Style of my own.

My interest is to make an honest living assisting others w the skills God gave me. I don’t need to be rich, I wouldn’t hate it,.. but to be financially stable from doing what I love seems better than having a bunch of money & possessions that will break & annoy me before I die from doing something I don’t love..as Long as I’ve a motorcycle to ride & my dogs, I’m content making around as I would grinding at a regular job where I’m told how to talk, dress, play make believe in some cases…this provides me not just w income but with a continuous way to do more & more creative things through assisting others in their creative endeavors, which are always fun unique projects that make me really have to come up w interesting solutions or images that I would not think to attempt on my own accord. While simultaneously living a quiet peaceful life w my 2 healthy happy Puppy Dawgs. As long as I’ve done this (started 2012/13) interesting opportunities have continued to present themselves through cool interesting people I’ve met who live all around the world.

I like it to be known & I have no shame in saying I’m a God/Jesus following dude, & read my Bible daily, even if its just 1 verse before I leave, I try to make decisions that Jesus would prefer me to make, though I fall short nearly every day. I know that He’s less popular these days with young folks but I think its as important to do that as it is lifting weights or breathing ..or petting your dog.

My days/nights are spent with my 2 closest companions, Jora & Pancake. They are heathenistic savages yet remain one of my favorite parts about being alive on Earth in this age of time. We eat together, sleep together, bathe together. They are my dogs btw.

Besides dog stuff.. painting, modifying, & riding motorcycles are some things I’m into. My daily ride is a custom 1,203cc Indian FTR named Alucard. Also I’m quite into kayaking & other nature type stuff such as tree climbing…One summer I lived in a tent on an island in the Gulf of Mexico w my old dog Tobey where we had a bunch of cool adventures w a baby dolphin.

That’s plenty about me, when it comes to the Art, been at it since I was 2yo, the 1st painting I ever did in kindergarten was chosen out of the entire school, to hang in our city hall in my hometown of Tarpon Springs Florida.

I drew with a pencil for many years, during school, at home when I’d watch movies, in my room when I was suppose to be asleep, anytime I could. My favorite thing to draw when I was little was the different levels of the rainforest & the wildlife that lived in them.

Since then I’ve done many different things for individual people around the country & local small businesses, for example..

designing logos, advertisement art, tee shirt dying & graphic tee art design, creature design concept, in 2022 I was hired to illustrate a book, have experience doing body painting on human models for theater dance/fashion performances, & my favorite way to use my skills the past 3 years is painting motorcycle parts, fairings, & helmets. I’ve done custom artwork on video game systems & controllers for people in the past, a few tattoo designs & artwork on guitars.

My pops & I built & modified guitars when I was in jr. high & high school so I’m good at taking them apart, painting sick art, clear coating & putting them back together. i also do electronical modifications & soldering on all types of tech. I’ve done various other random art gigs aside from what all I’ve listed just now. To sum it up, I’m willing to paint & customize mostly anything within reason, & I’d really like to do more vehicular, Instrument & helmet customization.

On a side note, my current personal project I’m working on consistently each week while still doing commissions is in Indie Game Development, writing code & scenarios in Game Maker Studio 2(game engine), animating pixel art in Aesprite(pixel animation program).. I recently updated portfolio, starting a new album to begin to showcase some characters, gameplay & pixel animations & eventually will upload some music tracks.

I plan on using this game to jump start my own development studio & am looking for other creative minded individuals who may be interested in joining Indie Game Development. This game will be my 3rd game I’ve worked on, though the 1st 2 were mostly to teach me scenario & script writing as well as animating & modifying code to bend the rules of the game engines parameters.. This will be the 1st one I plan on publishing for profit on Steam as well as the 1st I’m doing all my own assets, animations, practical sound effects & soundtracks that get peppy in the day then that same melody goes into a lo-fi version at night.

I’ve over a decade in recording, writing & producing trippy homemade music, nothing professionally sold or distributed, basically a hobby I loved & Perused for a bit when I was younger because I grew up watching my dad play guitar & bass. So, thinking it was pretty cool, getting into the doors, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Floyd..etc. So in jr. high I began playing drums, then guitar, keys, sitar etc. since age 13…Then later on in my late teens early twenties I began using digital programs like sonar & fruity loops for nearly 2 decades. I have been featured on other local artists tracks as well, I collaborated w many aspiring local musicians & rappers back in my early twenties. I plan on using some of the weird psychedelic music I’ve written, mixing live instruments w electronica & placing synthesizer effects over keys & stringed instruments, I wrote most of my songs back in my early twenties for the game, had initially wrote it to be an animated movie in high school before I wrote the music is when I started drawing characters for it, but I think a game is a much better form of story telling for what I have in mind. Indie Development is also a great opportunity to practice my archaic coding skills while enhancing my resume but also as a practice game to put knowledge gained towards future Indie Dev endeavors with a Larger team one day.

When it comes to the bike stuff, guitars & helmets, I prep beforehand to ensure the art will last & withstand the elements, involving sanding, priming, wet sanding, & after panys all done clearcoats, then, if you choose to go with a gloss finish, I hand buff it all out real nice w a good quality compound once its been completed & send it to you.

I also offer the choice for you to allow myself to go wild on your project & I’ll come up w some insane detailed & vibrant imagery for you or I can keep you up to date & we can make design choices during the process together(ask me about my custom Galaxy Paint I make).
