When you send me a helmet to customize for you, this is what step 1 is like for me to prep it. Though not shown in vid, it can take 2 to 3 weeks to prep it properly, I always make sure not to compromise the integrity of the helmet & I cure between each coat in my heated ventilated indoor paint booth. this process not only adds another layer for you to customize but also allows the artwork to adhere well.
